1) Warranty Coverage

SKYWORTH DEVELOPMENT MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. (“SKYWORTH”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) warrants that the products listed below (“Product” ) are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use for the applicable warranty period from the original date of purchase and only if purchased in Malaysia from SKYWORTH authorised retailers or authorised online channels.

** 30 Years Inverter Warranty

  • Applicable to Inverter Compressor (Refrigerators & Upright freezer) only.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
  • Entitled one time claim only during this period of warranty period.
  • Subject to SKYWORTH warranty terms.

3) Warranty Eligibility

a. This warranty is non-transferable and only valid for the original purchaser.
b. The Product was purchased in Malaysia from SKYWORTH authorised dealers or authorised online platforms.
c. You present valid proof of purchase (original invoice, receipt, warranty card or sales document) when making a warranty claim.
d. For extended coverage promotions, online warranty registration is completed and approved within the promotion period.

4) What Is Covered

a. The Warranty covers any manufacturing defects arising from normal domestic household usage within the warranty period.
b. Subject to the terms herein, SKYWORTH will at its option either:

  • Repair the defective product or defective part.
  • Replace the defective product with the same or equivalent product.

5) What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover the following:
a. SKYWORTH reserves the right to reject any warranty or service claims if customer is unable to provide the Product serial number and valid proof of purchase (original invoice, receipt, or warranty certificate) for verification, or where discrepancies, misuse, or abuse are identified in the supporting documentation.
b. Damage or defect caused by accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, improper installation, wear and tear, incorrect voltage, or failure to follow the product’s user manual.
c. Damage due to environmental conditions (lightning, floods, fire, power surges or pests such as ants, cockroaches, termites).
d. Products with altered, removed or illegible serial numbers or warranty labels.
e. Products repaired, modified, or tampered with by unauthorised service personnel.
f. Cosmetic deterioration such as scratches, dents, stains, discoloration, or faded paint that do not affect product performance.
g. Consumable items and accessories such as remote controls, batteries, power cords, external cables, filters, hoses, trays, shelves, cosmetic panels, and etc

6) Warranty Claim Procedure

To make a warranty claim, you must:
a. Contact SKYWORTH Malaysia Customer Service or an authorised SKYWORTH service centre.
b. Provide:

  • Original proof of purchase (Receipt or invoice)
  • Product serial number
  • Warranty card

c. Return or present the Product at an authorised service centre as instructed.
d. Contact details are available on our website or directly via our Customer Service helpline and email listed on the SKYWORTH Malaysia site.

7) Changes to Warranty Terms

SKYWORTH Malaysia reserves the right to update or amend these Warranty Terms & Conditions without prior notice, in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
